Space Day - June 5th, 2012

posted Jun 4, 2012, 2:47 PM by Cara Thompson
We are planning an awesome afternoon on Tuesday June 5th, with a special guest coming in to speak with the children about the Sun, planets, and the Venus eclipse happening that evening. All children are invited to come in for the presentation from 3:00pm to 4:00pm, even if Tuesday is not your normal day, but we ask that parents bringing in children on their off day remain at the center with their child. We'll be handing out special safe solar viewing glasses for all the children and adults so you can watch the eclipse from 6:00pm to sunset.

This event won't happen again for more than 100 years, and Tuesday is the day! Hopefully we get good sunny weather!
